iPhone drawing

The largeness of my fingers and the small size of the screen of my iPhone in comparison became apparent when creating this drawing in a recently rennovated Leicester Square. I sat on a hard surface for about an hour – always look for somewhere comfortable!  This was one of the first times I’d tried drawing on my iPhone, which made the zoom function essential. One of the problems with only being able to see parts of a drawing is judging the proportions of the different elements with eah other. I had already got used to layers, but here it was the use of colour and shade that I was trying to grapple with, hence the rather pale wash-like effect.

Not a great drawing, but I proved to myself I could draw something outside, with colour, on site and, crucially, on a small screen.
