Entry to the landmark was free!
Open House is a fantastic free event. The place I chose to visit, Battersea Power Station, was so popular it led to a two-hour wait with 18,000 other visitors that day to get in, but it was worth it. Good company meant the queuing time didn’t seem long. I’m going to avoid the overused adjective of ‘iconic’ when describing this building, though it is an impressive structure. I took nearly 200 photographs during my visit and once I got home I began drawing from one of these, rather from from life like I normally do. Below is a video recording the drawing being created.
