People watch and read different things on the Tube, probably just to avoid making eye contact.
Another crowded Monday morning Tube journey, but I have the priviledge of nearly always getting a seat.
The bag with writing, Batman t-shirt, suited man and the back of the woman were the main features I was trying to capture on this work. The colours were from error-prone memory. The T-shirt wasn’t there on the original journey, but I added it from what I saw on a subsequent journey where I was working on the drawing. This one took a while, I was working on several other simpler drawings. Much of this was drawn in the time from many commutes, but a bit was done at home. Drawn on one of my last commutes as a resident of south London, this is probably my final drawing of the Victoria line from Brixton.
